Hello Multifamily Raters,

Are you looking for ways to expand your business?

Become a Participating Rater in the County of Los Angeles Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) Multifamily Program. This innovative program advances comprehensive whole-building energy efficiency for existing multifamily buildings in the Southern California Edison (SCE) and SoCalGas® joint service territory. The Multifamily Program was extremely successful in 2017 and helped apartment buildings achieve tremendous energy savings. We are gearing up for another successful year and want you to be a part of it as a Participating Rater, helping you market a new program to existing clients while growing your business in a sustainable, energy-efficient marketplace.

Projects in the Multifamily Program must be assessed and submitted by Participating Rater, making them a critical part of this program. Rater expertise allows customers to make their properties more energy-efficient and help California reach its greenhouse gas reduction goals. Customers may use any licensed contractor for installation of the measures once the project is approved. Incentives are paid after installation. One approach that has been successful for some existing program Raters is offering customers a one-stop shop/turnkey solution by providing assessment and installation services in one service provider.

To become a Participating Rater, you’ll need to meet the Whole-Building Energy Audit and Combustion Appliance Safety Test requirements outlined in the chart below:
