Amara Yoga & Arts is pleased to announce our foundational 200-hour yoga teacher training program. This comprehensive program is intended to provide students with a deeper knowledge of their practice, and the skills to teach creatively sequenced, alignment-based vinyasa yoga classes. Students who successfully complete this program will be eligible to apply for RYS-200 status with the Yoga Alliance. Our 200-hour yoga teacher training program will debut in the fall of 2013 in Urbana, IL.  

Steps to win a FULL tuition scholarship for this year's Amara Yoga teacher training:

1. Create a 1-3 minute video and post it to YouTube with the following information. a) Who you are. b) Why you want to do the teacher training. c) Why you want to do the Amara Yoga teacher training specifically. d) How your doing the teacher training would benefit the community, in what ways you would give back if given this opportunity. Remember to have fun and be creative! Your video doesn't need to be perfect or professionally made, it just needs to be authentic and honest.

2. Share your video on the Amara Yoga & Arts facebook wall (http://www.facebook.com/AmaraYogaArts)

3. Get all your friends and family to "share" and "like" your video. The winner will be the person with the most shares and likes on OUR FACEBOOK WALL. Scoring is as follows:

1 "like" to the original post on our FB wall=1 point

1 "share" of the original post on our FB wall=2 points

For example: Your best friend "likes" your post on our wall and "shares" your video through her own page you will receive 3 points.
