Keeping Sedona The Most Beautiful Place on Earth
Happy Autumn, Industry Friends!

Sedona’s stunningly beautiful Red Rock formations, mild climate, an abundance of sunshine, clean air, small-town charm, and welcoming attitude has attracted nature lovers, artists and spiritual seekers for decades. Situated at the mouth of spectacular Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona is, in the words of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, “…equal or superior to many national parks.” In order to  Keep Sedona  the most beautiful place on Earth,   Sedona's Sustainable Tourism Plan   (STP) was born.

Now, we are going to welcome visitors as "temporary locals." Please help us nurture and protect Sedona by encouraging your clients to take the   Sedona Cares Pledge , below :

  1. The rocks are red and the natural quiet of Sedona is golden.
  2. I'll be mindful of Sedona's arid environment by minimizing water and energy use.
  3. I'll make my own memories, but not my own trails.
  4. I won't risk life or limb (human or sapling) for more likes.
  5. I'll be ready for rapid changes in weather and random episodes of magic.
  6. I'll Leave No Trace and pack out all my trash.
  7. I will discover art in Sedona's galleries, rather than defacing nature's art.
  8. If I can't find a parking spot, I will not invent my own.
  9. I'll be caring wherever I go, because that's the Sedona way.

We look forward to welcoming you and your clients to Sedona, and welcome your cooperation in  Keeping Sedona  the most beautiful place on Earth!
