extracurricular activities?
One of the best ways to get your student(s) connected at Dayton Christian School is to encourage them to participate in extracurricular activities through the DC Athletic Department and the DC Fine Arts Department.
OPPORTUNITIES IN ATHLETICS

PRIVIT
Before athletes may practice or participate in any sport, they must pass a sports physical and submit all necessary documents to their PRIVIT account. The deadline for completion for fall sports is August 1, 2022. Information on PRIVIT can be found at the link below.

Summer Sports Camps and Training Sessions
Summer training is underway for all fall high school sports (and even some winter sports). Make plans to attend these summer training sessions, so you are conditioned and developing your specific sport skills for the upcoming seasons!

OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FINE ARTS
The DC Fine Arts Department provides numerous opportunities for middle school and high school students.

Theater
The DC Theater Department typically performs a fall and spring production. Recent shows have included Annie, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and The Good Doctor.

Resounding Joy
Tryouts are conducted annually for this touring choir (Grades 9-12).

Bands and Choirs
The department offers opportunities for participation in concert bands and choruses from Grades 5-12. Additionally, students in Grades 9-12 can join the marching band or jazz band.
