Whether living on campus or commuting, we are excited to welcome you to campus in August! Please note that this email contains instructions for both residential and commuter students.

Instructions for Preparing to Arrive

As you prepare to arrive, there are required actions unique to each student experience. We’ve organized a few main takeaways below but encourage you to explore complete instructions in addition to resources including campus directions, parking, shuttle services and more, on the Arriving webpage.

A) Complete Prioritized Required Tasks

Failure to complete Prioritized Required Tasks may prevent eligibility to complete next steps for arrival and move in. If not completed, please take action as soon as possible.

B) Required Arrival Registration Process

Students Living On Campus: Students moving in Aug. 22-24, are required to complete the Move-In Registration Process. Step-by-step instructions are available on the On-Campus Living webpage. This is not required for students arriving prior to Aug. 22.

Students Commuting: Are required to complete the Commuter Student Arrival Pass Request Form by Friday, August 11, 2023.

C) Receiving an Arrival Pass

Both commuter and residential students will receive an arrival pass sent to their Syracuse University Email (i.e. @syr.edu).

The subject of the email will be “ATTENTION: This is your 2023 Arrival Pass."

Arrival Passes should be printed before arrival.

Upon arrival, Arrival Passes should be visible and serve as your ticket to the holding line during move-in, accessing on campus living if arriving early and/or your parking pass for the weekend.
