Welcome Week is Syracuse University's required new student programming designed to help you make a successful transition to campus life. Through a variety of events and programs, students will build connections with faculty, staff and peers while becoming familiar with the many resources and services available to support their success. From celebrating Syracuse traditions to preparing for the first day of classes, Welcome Week is the start of your Orange journey on campus.
Signature events to be on the lookout for:
- The Slice is Right | Wednesday, Aug. 19, 8:15-9:30 p.m.
- Convocation | Thursday, Aug. 20, 10 a.m.
- Community Meet-Ups | Friday and Saturday, Aug. 21-22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Dome Sweet Dome | Saturday, Aug. 22, 4-5 p.m.
- Citrus in the City | Sunday, Aug. 23, 12-3 p.m.
In addition to these signature events, students will participate in required sessions hosted by their home school or college, which provide important information, introductions to faculty and staff and resources specific to their academic journey.
