Family Scouting, Charter Renewal, Camporee and Crossover Ceremonies are all on the table. Come mingle, add your thoughts, and share your experience with other Scouters!
Cubmaster Coffee - Friday, December 21 - 7:00 AM

Due to holidays, our Cubmaster Coffee is on a special day this month, on Friday, December 21 - at its new time of 7:00 AM.

Come on-time or late, stay as long as you want, but drop in and visit with your fellow Cubmasters and Cub Scout leaders. All are welcome the last Friday morning of every month for a Cub-focused gathering to address whatever you want to talk about!
Charter Renewal
Your Unit Recharter Leader should be working with your unit's commissioner now to complete the annual recharter process. December is a time for correcting any errors blocking completion, and the turn-in deadline was November 30. There's help nearby if you need it!

District Awards Season is Open!
All Award Nominations Due Now
It is time to recognize our district Scouters who give so much all year long and make Scouting special in the Bee Cave District. This is your opportunity to recognize them for all they do! We are also fortunate to have an opportunity to recognize our youth members who embody the Scouting ideals. Please review the recognition awards below, and be sure to submit your nominations. While the official deadline has passed, please don't let your adults (or your outstanding youth) go unrecognized - send in your nominations now!

  • District Award of Merit 
  • Cub Scout and Boy Scout of the Year

Note that our Scouts of the Year will represent the Bee Cave District at the 2019 Report to State event at the Texas Capitol!

Scouts BSA Outreach
The Bee Cave District is gearing up to provide the great scouting experience to girls age 11-17 years old starting Feb 1st. We will have two Scouts BSA Troops for girls on February 1st: Troop 72 at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church (WHPC) and Troop 0454 at Riverbend Church.

Save the Date: District Awards Banquet

Save the date, and prepare to reserve your table for your unit's recognized volunteers, honored guests, Committee Chair, Chartered Org Rep, and of course your Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Advisor or Skipper! 

Our District Volunteer Awards Banquet is the evening of  Thursday, January 10 at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church (7127 Bee Caves Road). We'll be sending out an invitation soon to use our registration link and help celebrate all of the amazing volunteers that make Scouting here in the Bee Cave District such an awesome Texas adventure!

Save the Date: Report to State
Saturday, February 2, 2019
Celebrate the anniversary of the Scouting movement at the 70th annual Boy Scout Parade and Report to the State of Texas. Scouts from all over Texas march up Congress Avenue to the Capitol. Make your plans to participate!

Camp will be held: June 3 to June 7, 2019
Registration for Cub Scout Day Camp at Castleton (June 3-7, 2019) fills up every year! Registration will open at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 18, 2019. Set the reminder today!
