Dear Parents of the Class of 2023,

In just a few weeks, the Class of 2023 will formally begin their work planning for the college admissions process. Our Student Services team, with three school counselors and designated college counselor, looks forward to supporting your student in her college search. We invite you to be an active part of this process and would like to share information about our college planning curriculum.

Over the coming months, all juniors will participate in a series of meetings and events to help prepare them for the college admissions process. Juniors will have the opportunity to explore interests and career options, participate in college research, and learn from college admissions officers. College Planning Questionnaire & One-on-One Meeting
In order to provide each student with the best guidance and support during this process, your daughter will complete the College Planning Questionnaire. This survey is a way for our college counselor, Ms. Granholm, to learn about your student and her goals for the college search. The questionnaire will be available online and discussed at the February 1st meeting. Completed questionnaires are due by April 4th. Following submission, Ms. Granholm will meet with each student individually to discuss her specific goals for the college admissions process. Parents are also welcome to attend this meeting. Additional information will be provided in the spring.

The college admission process is very exciting, but there is a lot to do. It’s our goal to assist each student in finding colleges that best meet her needs and provide wonderful opportunities for her future. We appreciate your partnership in this process and look forward to working closely with you and your daughter in the year ahead.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Rachel Behren LCPC, NCC, CIMHP
