As we move into the end of the year, we want to wish each of you a peaceful and loving holiday season. We are looking forward to providing you with a number of enlightening programs in 2025 that will support and intrigue you as we each move forward on our journey. We are also looking forward to continuing to grow our community and to meeting more in person for coffee and conversation.

We will be sending out a Newsletter at the beginning of the year with our 2025 line up but, for now, here’s a reminder of what is happening in January and February.

JANUARY 2025 BOOK CLUB

January 12, January 16, February 9, February 23 4:00 pm – 530 pm

Via Zoom

We hope you can join us starting on January 12, 2025 when Mary Marx will begin leading us through a discussion of David Miller's book, The New Polytheism. David Miller is a well-loved teacher (Syracuse and Pacifica) and widely published author in religion, myth, depth psychology, and literary theory. According to Miller, monotheism wants everyone’s “explanation systems (e.g., theological, historical, psychological) under one all-embracing system … a single center that holds things together.” In contrast, polytheistic thinking frees us from having “to get it all together.” It is Miller’s premise that the “psyche” is polytheistic, with “multiple potencies, and structures of meaning and being.” As such, this approach better matches the plurality of our lived experience.

As always, Book Club is a free program for our members. But, in order to get the Zoom link, you need to register. So please click on the button below to register.
