2020 Behavioral Health & Higher Education
Gold Star Standards of Excellence Program
For the second year in a row, MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence (CTI) is combining the 2020 Behavioral Health & Higher Education Gold Star Standards of Excellence (GSSE) programs and will host a recognition celebration during CTI’s Annual Treatment & Prevention Conference on June 16th in Freeport. At the GSSE Awards Breakfast, we will celebrate the successes of the 2020 awardees with wider support and acknowledgement from champions and stakeholders in the fields of commercial tobacco treatment and prevention.

CTI will be offering one free individual registration (per organization/application) to attend the Annual Tobacco Treatment and Prevention Conference to those Behavioral Health & Higher Education entities that submit an application for the
2020 GSSE program.

Acknowledging your efforts in creating tobacco-free environments and having your voice/sector represented at the conference is important to our collective work in promoting safe and healthy environments in Maine. We hope you will join us and apply to the 2020 Gold Star Standards of Excellence Program
