The Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is an annual survey that measures homelessness across the U.S. This year, Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc.’s Continuum of Care (CoC) Team contributed by gathering critical data from individuals in encampments, shelters, and temporary housing in Maryland.
The findings are concerning—homelessness has increased by 50% since 2024, underscoring the urgent need for expanded resources and stronger support systems. Programs like Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc.'s Continuum of Care are crucial in connecting individuals to housing, mental health services, and community support.
