Student Spotlight
Hayley Cagarli (Dance Class of 2023) has committed to The University of Akron to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Dance with Business Cognate. Her coursework will include broad learning in dance supplemented by business studies. Congratulations Hayley!
Michelle Lee (Theatre Class of 2024) achieved second place, and Elijah Dor (Theatre Class of 2023) achieved fourth place at the English-Speaking Union Princeton Branch's National Shakespeare Competition on February 26th. They each performed a Shakespearean monologue and recited a sonnet. Congratulations, Michelle and Elijah!
Anna Staltari (Vocal Performance Class of 2023) is in the process of earning her Girl Scout Gold Award. This award recognizes Girl Scouts at the highest level of achievement through their creation and execution of a “take action” project which is intended to make a difference in their community.

For her project, Anna created a performing arts program called Arts for All, which is an inclusive and cost-free program designed for kids with various challenges and disabilities to participate in musical theater. Anna created, advertised, and wrote a curriculum, and led the activities over the six-week period in which the program ran. With the help of volunteers and peer mentors, all participants in Arts For All had fun while creating music, friendships, and memories through team-building activities.

Anna hopes to continue this program yearly, with the intention of both spreading her passion for musical theater, in addition to creating a safe and welcoming community for all children to have fun and grow.
