“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2

Greetings!

Warm greetings from Shepherd Society in Bethlehem.

People come to Bethlehem to see the holy places, but behind them is a living Christian community—families who have called this land home for generations. This Christmas, we invite you to see the people behind the holy places: our neighbors, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Our ambulance campaign is more than providing a vehicle. It is about protecting lives and reminding the people of Beit Sahour—Muslim and Christian—that they are seen, remembered, and not forgotten.

In this week’s video, Beit Sahour Mayor Laith Qumsieh shares what a new ambulance would mean for the community.

Ambulance campaign

Please watch, share, and help us tell their story.

More people are learning about the ambulance campaign and responding positively. We hope that we will fulfill the need and will also provide medical needs when we reach our target.

We are grateful for what we are able to do together:

  • 43 new job opportunities created
  • 300 food packages distributed in September
  • 220+ people receiving daily meals across Bethlehem District
  • Outreach and support for local churches and organizations
  • Medical needs are met on monthly basis

With gratitude from Bethlehem,

Shireen Awwad Hilal
