BEHIND THE SCENES FOR NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK
It's National Library Week! What better time to take you Behind the Scenes at RCPL? We will be featuring videos throughout the week highlighting the services and support groups that make RCPL go 'round.

Yesterday, we featured Curbside Pickup. Ever wonder what goes into this service? Watch this video to follow a book from the shelf to your Curbside bag!

Today we look at Friends of the Redwood City Public Library and the library programs that they support through their bookstore sales, donation events, their newly released webstore and RCPL Bees honey sales. Learn more about the Friends in this video.

We also have Behind the Scenes looks at Redwood City Library Foundation, Project READ and our Youth Services storytimes later this week! Follow us to see them!
PARTNER CORNER
Welcome to our Partner Corner - where we highlight a community partnership that enhances the services we bring to YOU!

The Youth Literacy Council (YLC) is a group of nine local high school students who are passionate and dedicated to spreading a love for reading and increasing literacy rates in the community. YLC hosts a series of events such as the upcoming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory event on April 24th with fun activities and a book discussion. Past library programs include a Magic Tree House Zoom event, donation kits for homeless community members, and helping out with library events. If you’re interested and/or want to learn more about YLC, email youthliteracycouncil@gmail.com
