WHAT'S GOING ON IN MARCH?
|
|
The Spring 2022 final exam schedule is now available. You can view your final exam schedule in the LionPATH Student Center. Please be sure to click the “MORE” link to see all exams. The types of exams you may see include:
- In-person on a specific day and time (typically 1 hour, 50 minutes) with an actual room assignment;
- Remote synchronous on specific day and time (typically 1 hour, 50 minutes) with a room designation of WEBFNL;
- Remote asynchronous on a specific day with a time of 12:00am – 11:59pm (24 hour block). This also has a designation of WEBFNL. Your instructor will be in further contact with you to explain when the final exam will be open for completion within this 24 hour window of time.
The Erie/Behrend final exam schedule is built based on Erie/Behrend courses only. If you are taking a course through another PSU campus location (“multi-campus registration”) or through something called the Digital Learning Cooperative (DLC), you need to review your schedule very carefully to make sure you don’t have a direct conflict (overlap in exam times) or an overload conflict (3 exams in one calendar day or 3 consecutive exam scheduling periods over two days). You will need to work with the instructors directly to resolve a conflict if one exists.
You can request an overload resolution if you qualify. You can apply for an overload resolution using the link provided in LionPATH. If that link is not available to you, please email our Registrar's office for assistance – REGBD@psu.edu. The deadline to do this is Sunday, March 6, 2022. You will be notified shortly thereafter of the resolution outcome.
The final exam schedule was prepared based on your schedule as of January 19, 2022. If you late added a course or changed sections of a course after this date, you should confirm with the instructor of that course if/when there is a final exam.
Please email the Behrend Registrar’s Office at REGBD@psu.edu with any questions.
FALL 2022 Registration is Right Around the Corner!
How to determine your registration date:
1) Typically students with more credits register first; registration dates are determined by adding your total credits earned to the credits on your current schedule.
2) There are two ways to look up your date to register: checking the Registration Timetable and looking at your LionPATH Student Center for Enrollment Dates.
3) You can begin enrolling in classes at 12:00 a.m. on your day to schedule.
Make sure you schedule an appointment with your adviser to plan for next semester and beyond. Preparation is the key to success!

The breadth of experiences offered by Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies is reflected in the diverse career paths possible in the industrial, service, and academic sectors. Graduates typically enter the business side of technical companies in positions such as technical/industrial sales, technical business/product development, technical support, junior-level product or brand management, production planning, operations analysis, operations/production management, and project management.

WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS?

We live in an increasingly interdependent world, one in which economic events happening halfway around the globe are as likely to affect us as those occurring in a neighboring state. Global interconnectedness creates demand for decision-makers with the knowledge to conduct business in an international setting. The study of international business teaches the skills needed to meet the challenges of accomplishing organizational objectives while coordinating human, financial, information, or material resources across national boundaries. To offer both depth and breadth of skills, Penn State Behrend’s B.S. in International Business is a dual-degree program. Students pursue a second degree in Accounting, Business Economics, Economics, Finance, Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies, Management Information Systems, Marketing, or Project and Supply Chain Management.
