11:00 AM Worship | Stewardship Sunday
“The Hope of Giving” | 1 Chronicles 29:10-22 | Brett Younger, preaching
Clara Bess Eikner said, “A dead church doesn’t ask for money.”
Plymouth Church is very much alive. Our congregation is filled with generous people. We give because we are grateful for Plymouth’s worship, community, and ministry. We give because we experience God’s joy in sharing what we have been given. On Stewardship Sunday, we close the service by sharing our financial commitments to the church. We have an opportunity to become more generous people.

November Mission Offering: Ruth's Refuge
During Yankee Fair, stop by the Plymouth in Action booth to help assemble 7 dressers for our mission partner Ruth’s Refuge. Ruth’s Refuge supports newly arrived refugees with move-in help and furniture, which can often be too costly after (finally!) signing onto a lease. During November, we are building dressers to help replenish Ruth’s Refuge dwindling inventory. Come help us put them together, volunteer your car to deliver them, and give your money throughout this month to support this project here:
Our goal is to raise $1,500.

On the Blog: A House Grows in Mexico
“We were just people, sharing food, sharing fuel and maybe a little compassion from Brooklyn. We listened to stories of each other’s lives, which were so very different, and yet we were all so together.” Read Edrie’s thoughtful pilgrimage reflection on the Brooklyn Heights blog today.

Bob and Donna Reigstad leading
Gather for meaningful reading and conversation, as we walk through this winter together. Katherine May's Wintering focuses on the concept of "wintering" as a metaphor for difficult times in life. The author is inspired by winter being a period of hibernation, relaxation, and renewal. She mixes personal tales, historical references, and cultural insights throughout the book to highlight the importance of embracing and surviving life's "tough seasons" that challenge us.
