A Note To Our Families...

Hello Trailblazers,

The Run For Education (RFE) is a 38-year tradition in the San Ramon Valley, and you don’t want to miss it! This is the only run we will be having this year. The Run For Education will be virtual this year, but we hope to bring back some of our traditional in-person activities on October 09 and 10, based on county guidelines.

The Run for Education will share revenue with schools in two ways (so please sign up):
  • Registration Fees ($25.00): Schools earn 30% of the net registration fees from every participant that chooses your school.
  • Fundraising Pages: Automatically created for every registrant, the school receives 70% of funds raised!

A virtual run is a race where you can run, jog, walk or roll for the distance of your choosing. Whether on the road, trail, treadmill or track, you pick the finish line. Complete a virtual 1K (Friendship or Mini Run), 5K, 10K, or create one of your own. Should you choose to time yourself, you can upload the results and even print a certificate of completion!

An in-person, two-day, Health & Wellness Expo will be held! This event will be October 09 from 9.00am to 3.00pm, and October 10 from 10.00am to 2.00pm at Bishop Ranch 2700 (2700 Camino Ramon), across from City Center (same location as 2019 event).

Details:
○ 5K and 10K are virtual - complete (or not) on your own schedule and course.
○ Mini Run and Friendship Run - optional in person as space allows.
  • Donations are accepted until October 31, 2021.
  • Results can be uploaded September 10 - October 10. 2021.
  • Masks or capes are included with each registration.
  • Shirts can be ordered during registration or in the store. Mask/cape/shirt pick up October 9 - 10 at the Health & Wellness Expo.

BVEF meetings are held quarterly. All families are invited and encouraged to attend. Please see the information below or the BVES website, under Ed Fund.

Enjoy the weekend! The Ed Fund Team enjoys working and connecting with our school community!

Thank you families,

Sonali Atry, BVEF President
