Bellesini October Spotlight - Hispanic Heritage Month!

Thank you to the 8th-grade boys for preparing a prayer service to help us celebrate #HispanicHeritageMonth. The boys researched inspiring Hispanic and Latinx leaders and thinkers and presented them to our school community this morning. They also shared about Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas.

Bellesini turns 20!

This fall, we celebrate 20 years of achieving academic excellence together!

Bellesini opened in 2002 with 26 boys in grades five and six. The Academy has seen tremendous growth since then, growing to enroll 60 boys in grades five through eight, graduating its first class of students in 2005.

In 2012, the Academy’s leadership began to consider how Bellesini could broaden its impact on the community. Specifically, the trustees focused on the many obstacles to academic and personal success facing Lawrence girls. The co-institutional girls’ school opened with its first class of girls in 2015-16, and now serves 60 girls!

Today, Bellesini Academy serves over 120 students, 200 alumni and 60 alumnae.

Teacher of the Month - Meet Mr. Cintron, 7th & 8th Science

We are excited to welcome back one of our alumni, Juan Cintron, to our faculty this year! Mr. Cintron graduated from Bellesini Academy in 2012, Central Catholic High School in 2016, and Rochester Institute of Technology earlier this year. His bright personality and dedication to the students is making a difference for our school community.

Mr. Cintron shares that "life has a way of bringing you full circle and back to where you once where to show you how much you've learned and grown.

I have always felt an overwhelming support from Bellesini. I’m endlessly grateful for everything that Bellesini has to offer. Opportunities and connections for me all started at Bellesini with a “Yes.” Something that you come to realize is that Bellesini isn’t just the staff, the classrooms, or the opportunities.. It's all of us!"
