Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game. The story takes place at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects! Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

Spring Musical Auditions - January 7th, 8th and 9th. More information is coming soon.

BHS LIBRARY NEWS:

Another thank you for your cooperation with the new routine in the library! Remember:
No eating in the library
Have a pass from a teacher during class time
Enter and exit the library through the main doors as the emergency door at the back of the room is now alarmed!
A huge thank you to the Bellevue High School PTSA for awarding the BHS Library $1000 to buy new books in languages other than English! I'm super grateful for the support of our school community and I'm excited to expand our World Languages collection! If you have any specific requests, please use this form to let me know!
Thanks again to the Bellevue Schools Foundation for the $300 grant to the BHS Library also for World Languages books! I'm excited to do some shopping!
A gentle reminder to return your library books! Did you visit the library last quarter to check out independent reading books for your ELA class and now you're finished with that assignment? Time to bring that book back! If I'm not at my desk, you can drop your books in the return slot cut into the circulation desk at the front of the library. If you ever need more time with a book, just let me know and I'll renew it for another three weeks.
Heads up that next Wednesday, 4 December, the library will be closed all day to accommodate the WLCC exams.

OTHER BOOK NEWS:

The National Book Awards were announced last week. I'm looking forward to reading the winner of the Fiction prize, James, by Percival Everett, a reimagining of Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn adventure told from Jim's perspective instead of Huck's — it's on everyone's best-of-the-year list!
I haven't tried this myself yet, but I recently discovered Simon Teen, the YA subsidiary of Simon & Schuster publishing company, offers FREE ebooks to read on their website, available by registering a free account. Check it out if you're fresh out of books to read over the long weekend!

We have one more show this season and we don't want you to miss out.

T'was the Night Before Christmas Dec 6- 15

Come support local and inclusive arts in your community!

Performances are on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

>> New this Season: Sensory Friendly Performances

Join us for a relaxed viewing experience. Designed specifically for audience members with sensory sensitivities, these performances will feature increased lighting in the audience, lower sound volumes, reduced or removed fog effects, and the permitted use of digital devices. With smaller audience sizes, a designated quiet area, and a special actor-introduction to the show, it is our goal to make certain that everyone feels comfortable enjoying our theatre in whatever way feels best to them. Complimentary sensory guides and fidgets are available in the lobby.
