HIGHLIGHTS & NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
The brand-new crop of wrestlers is a pleasure to teach. They have a lot to learn and seem extremely determined to improve. We have more than half brand-new wrestlers. The Wrestling culture is a shock for some; however, we find them to be intrigued with the sport. I would guess the consensus from them would be hard work, but fun and that they are sore for all the sprints and drilling.
Up Coming MEET / TOURNAMENT
- 12/4 vs Lindbergh and Evergreen
- 12/6 Mariner invite sending 1 Varsity Girls and boys’ team
UPCOMING DATES
• Practicing all week but Thanksgiving

女子バスケットボール部ーRomell Witherspoonヘッドコーチ
After finishing 4th in the state last year, our program is entering this year with strong momentum and elevated expectations. We are returning 7 student athletes, including all five starters, giving us one of the most experienced and cohesive cores in the state.
Based on our roster, we have a competitive trajectory. Our internal expectation is to compete for—and win—a state championship this year. We believe we have the personnel, mindset, identity required and coaching staff to return to the Dome and make a legitimate run at the title.
Our culture remains rooted in our program standard, CLIMB – Confident Leaders Intentionally Mastering Belief, which continues to shape accountability, leadership development, team cohesion, emotional maturity, and competitive consistency. The tone of the program is strong, unified, and aligned.
With the excitement around this team and the championship potential ahead, we would also like to increase community engagement and attendance at home games. We hope to grow student-body presence, involve feeder programs, collaborate with the band for atmosphere, and create a true home-court environment that reflects the pride and energy of Bellevue High School. Our goal is for games to feel like an event that the school and community want to be part of.
