Historic District Sign

Live in Bellevue's Historic District?

Planning to restore your home to its original beauty? Your home might be eligible for a preservation grant. One of the driving forces in the economic development of our community is Bellevue's historic fabric. To help preserve that fabric, historic district property owners must comply with the Certificate of Appropriateness process when renovating. With these in mind, a Historic Preservation grant is available for homes within the Fairfield Avenue and Taylor's Daughters Historic Districts to help offset costs. This is a matching grant for the cost of removal of non-conforming materials as well as the fabrication and installation of recreated historic features to historic property in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.

Contact Jody Robinson at jody.robinson@bellevueky.org for more info and to discuss the details of your project before completing the application.

Fairfield Planter

Keeping Bellevue beautiful

The Bellevue Neighborhood Associate has been working hard to keep our city looking great. Recently the planters around town have been refreshed; the West Donnermeyer and Riveria gateway has been cleaned up, weeded, mowed and One Stop owners have installed a new retaining wall; and tulip and daffodil bulb variations will be sold at Art in the Park. Be sure to stop by!

Dog Bag Dispensers

Forgot a dog bag before the walk?

Don't worry! Dog bag dispensers have been installed on the utility poles along the 200-700 blocks of Fairfield Avenue courtesy of the Bellevue Animal Hospital and Bellevue Renaissance. The groups split the cost of the dispensers and bags. Thanks to all for using dog bags and promoting clean public areas while giving our four legged friends some outdoor exercise.
