Meet Miss Laura!


Stop by the library on February 4th between 10 am and 11 am to meet "Miss Laura" Brillant-Giangrande, our new Youth Services Librarian. Laura was the Children's Librarian at the Plainville Public Library for 6 years. She also taught preschool at a number of locations. She has an AS in Early Childhood Education from Quincy College, and a BS in History and Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University. She is a DESE licensed teacher and an ECE certified preschool teacher.

February 13th at 6:30 pm

We will have an accountant/tax professional, business attorney, insurance professional and banker to discuss why businesses of all sizes need these professionals and what these professionals can do to help your business. This is a hybrid program.

There are thousands of hours of commercial-free programming and Academy Award winning animation. With IndieFlix you can explore insightful, well-known and undiscovered films and documentaries.


Founded by filmmakers, IndieFlix’s mission is to guide their audience to unusual, thought-provoking content. It can be watched on Internet-connected devices such as smartphones, smart TVs, tablets and desktops.
