City Council Meeting - February 17, 2025
The Beloit City Council will hold their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17. The meeting will be held in person in the first floor Forum at Beloit City Hall, 100 State Street, and will be live-streamed on Charter Channel 992 and on Beloit Access Television (BATV) YouTube channel.
If you are unable to attend and would like to provide public comment for the Public Comment section of the agenda, please email PublicComment@beloitwi.gov by 12:00 noon on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Winter Weather Emergency
6pm Friday, February 14 to 12pm Sunday, February 16
During a Winter Weather Emergency, vehicles are prohibited from parking or standing on city streets, according to Beloit City ordinance. Residents are reminded to move their vehicles from the streets to a driveway or approved off-site parking lot. A map and location of designated parking areas is available here.
The Recycling Drop-Off Center will be closed on Saturday, February 15, 2025 due to the predicted winter storm.

Public Involvement Meeting for WIS 81 and Milwaukee Road Intersection
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation invites residents to a public involvement meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to the intersection of Milwaukee Road and WIS 81 in the City of Beloit. This is your chance to provide input! Construction is scheduled for 2028.
The meeting will be held:
- Thursday, February 20, 2025
- 5:00 - 6:00pm
- Beloit Public Library, Classroom 111, 605 Eclipse Blvd.
WisDOT representatives will give a brief presentation starting at 5:15pm regarding the proposed work. The remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format.
The project's purpose is to improve safety at the intersection. Proposed improvements include:
- Reconstructing the intersection into a roundabout
- Shifting the Evergreen Avenue cul-de-sac north to accommodate intersection improvements
- Surface crossing, signal and median improvements at the nearby railroad crossing
