East Grand Avenue Reopens — Ribbon Cutting Friday

Join the City and Downtown Beloit Association at 11am Friday, May 1, for the East Grand Avenue ribbon cutting at State & East Grand — celebrate with cookies, live music, and the chance to see road re-opened before the farmers’ market returns Saturday.

Amazing turnout for the kickoff meeting about creating a possible Tax Incremental Financing District to improve the Madison Road corridor! With standing room only in the back, we had 55 people attend today’s conversation at Dita’s on the West Side.

Thank you everyone for your passion for the Beloit community. We will keep everyone updated as future conversations continue.

Downtown Farmers’ Market Returns Saturday

Fresh produce and local vendors are returning to Beloit Farmers' Market. The Outdoor Farmers’ Market is held 8am-1pm Saturdays, May–October, in Downtown Beloit.

Volunteers Wanted: Join the Board of Appeals

The City is seeking members for the Board of Appeals to review variance and administrative appeals; meetings are 7 pm on the second Tuesday monthly at City Hall, 100 State St.
