Krueger Pool Opening Today, Friday, July 22


The City of Beloit is opening Krueger Pool this weekend and next weekend. The open swim hours will be 1-6pm Friday-Sunday.


Concessions, the diving well, and lap lanes will not be available this weekend due to staffing levels.


We anticipate opening additional weekends as staffing allows. Stay tuned for more updates.

The City continues to hire lifeguards and cashiers to boost staffing levels to open this summer. Interested candidates can apply online.

Beloit Police Hosting National Night Out Event - Wednesday, August 3


The City of Beloit Police Department is hosting a citywide National Night Out kickoff event at the Harry C. Moore Pavilion in Riverside Park from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022. This is the first year the event is being held on a Wednesday.


Organizations that wish to participate in the National Night Out event should contact Lt. Christopher Eberhardt at eberhardtc@beloitwi.gov or (608)364-5718.


The application for neighborhood block parties is on the City of Beloit website at the Beloit Police Department website or available on the National Night Out website. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, July 29. The application needs to be sent to the Beloit Police Department, 100 State St., Attn. Lt. Eberhardt or emailed to eberhardtc@beloitwi.gov.

City of Beloit August Primary Elections Polling Locations Combined


The City Council has combined polling places for the primary election to be held on Aug. 9, 2022, in the City of Beloit.


Voters in wards 1-6 and 24-26, who live on the west side of the Rock River will vote at the Beloit Historical Society, 845 Hackett Street, Beloit, WI 53511 for the August election only.


Voters in wards 12-20 and 27, who live on the east side of the Rock River will join voters in wards 21-23 and 28-30 to vote at Central Christian Church, 2460 Milwaukee Road, Beloit, WI 53511 for the August election only.

2023 CDBG Applications Now Available


2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications are available beginning July 15, 2022. The link for applications can be found on the City’s website at www.beloitwi.gov under Community Development. Applicants can also go directly to the City of Beloit's Neighborly Portal.


Interested community groups and agencies are invited to apply for funds.


Completed applications must be submitted to the Community Development Department, 100 State Street, Beloit, WI 53511 no later than August 15, 2022 at 11:59PM CDT. Summer Food Program at the Library


Beloit Public Library and the School District of Beloit are partnering to provide free meals for children ages 18 and under at Blender Cafe! Meals will be available on weekdays from June 21 through August 12.
