America 250 in Beloit: BJSO Pops on the Rock Concert & a Choreographed Fireworks Show


Join the City of Beloit and the Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra for a special America 250 celebration with essay presentations, a patriotic concert at the Harry C. Moore Pavilion, and fireworks. New this year: the fireworks will be synchronized to music at the Beloit Memorial High School stadium.

Independence Day Service Impacts in Beloit


Independence Day info for Beloit: City services have holiday changes with various closures July 2-4. The pool, golf course and lagoon rentals will be open all weekend!

City, Town to Consider Fire Consolidation Agreement


A proposal to fully consolidate fire and emergency medical services will be presented to the Town of Beloit Board of Supervisors on Monday, July 6, and the Beloit City Council on Tuesday, July 7, by the administrators of both communities. Each governing body will be asked to approve an intergovernmental agreement to move forward with consolidation.
