A New Downtown Mural!
Downtown Beloit has a fresh splash of creativity just in time for National Arts and Health Day, Saturday, July 26! Check out the new mural at Beloit Art Center, created by Lynda Wallis in honor of the center's 25th anniversary.
The mural was a private project by the Beloit Art Center.

Beloit’s Climate Action Plan — We want to hear from you!
The City of Beloit is taking steps toward a more sustainable future — and your voice matters. Community members are invited to attend one of two upcoming meetings to learn about Beloit’s Climate Action Plan process, review current information and progress, share ideas, and help guide the city’s efforts to address climate change.
The Climate Action Plan will serve as a roadmap for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting resilience, and addressing climate impacts.
Community Meeting Dates
- Wednesday, July 30 at 6pm; Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.
- Thursday, August 7 at 6pm; Department of Public Works’ Water Resources and Engineering Facility, 2400 Springbrook Court

National Night Out Is Almost Here!
Turn on your porch light and join your neighbors for the annual National Night Out celebration! From neighborhood block parties to our big event at Telfer Park, National Night Out celebrates community and partnerships as we work together to make a safer city.
This year, the City of Beloit Police Department is holding the celebration on two days to accommodate the traditional block parties while continuing the success of the growing community event at Telfer Park.
