Send “Save Ohio Parks” a message or your revision to urge Gov. De Wine to again veto dangerous legislation. SB 219 would allow drilling inside Ohio's parks for the first time. It would strip ODNR of its ability to regulate injection wells and orphan wells, and it would prevent the state from fining companies that cause spills or break the rules.

Advocacy

Let Representative Mike Turner know that you are deeply disappointed in his vote to provide over the top funding to ICE and Border Patrol without the necessary restraints and accountability measures that were proposed. Learn more from UUSJ.

Worship for All Ages: Flower Communion

Sunday, June 14th at 1:00 PM

Rev. Kellie Kelly & Somaya Bernard

Bring a Flower!

Don't worry - extra flowers will be provided for those who forget.

This Sunday's service is scheduled to be multi-platform: onsite as well as on Zoom and livestreamed to Facebook.

About Flower Communion:

Flower Communion was created by Unitarian minister Norbert Čapek, in defiance of the Nazis. This annual celebration of community is a powerful reminder of the strength and joy we reap when we embrace the beauty of our diversity, especially in the face of fascism.

Children & Youth Religious Enrichment this week:

Our Worship For All Ages services are intentionally multi-generational so that all children, preschool-age and older, may happily participate in the entire service.

If joining us by phone via Zoom:

Dial 1-312-626-6799

or 1-646-876-9923

Enter Meeting ID (953 8114 7453) and Passcode (869000) at prompts.

This service will be recorded. If you do not want to be included in the recording, please turn off your camera, mute your microphone, and change your name to "MVUUF" once you are in the zoom.

Missed last week's service?

View past worship services at your convenience on our website. New worships uploaded by Wednesday of each week. See here.

LAST SUNDAY

Joys & Sorrows

Joy!

Last Sunday Dee Jay N. shared that she is home from the hospital, and at a healthier weight now that she has received a feeding tube. What a joy it is to simply be alive! Let us send our well wishes to Dee Jay, so her health may continue to improve.

For All Life's Joys and Sorrows

Throughout all of life's ups and downs, music is there to amplify our joys and witness our sorrows. Here are two playlists, curated by Soul Matters, for all of your joys and sorrows.

May we know that our joys and sorrows are part of the sacred circle of life. May we be grateful for the Love that binds us to one another and will not let us go.

The joys and sorrows shared here are shared with expressed permission.

Story for All Ages

Last Sunday's Story for All Ages was not a book, but a wonder box story told by Rachel Feltner. You may view the story again by clicking on the button below and jumping to time marker 23:00.
