Welcome to what we imagine to be a weekly, Tuesday video visit from a beloved sacred space in our Church, on topics that touch on holy places, both concrete and metaphorical, in our lives.
Though it is true that the Body of Christ is made of people and not buildings, it is also true that attachments to place are part of what makes us human. After all, God chose to fuse the Divine Essence with the body of Jesus of Nazareth. And the Holy Spirit effects her power within the confines of space and time, in the messy fruitfulness of human life.
We hope you enjoy this feature, and invite suggestions for places in and around the Church you'd like to see. We also invite your ideas for 'places in the heart' that you might like to hear reflection about.
Here's this week's Beloved Space reflection.
An Initiation to Pentecost from the Memorial Garden (5/24/20)
Please continue to hold in your prayers those who
are suffering and those keeping things going in this difficult time; and to give thanks for the graces that surround us on every side.
