FROM YOUR HOA
Belterra Residents,

The Retreat Splash Pad Update
The Belterra Community Association Board of Directors has decided to open the splash pad at The Retreat for 'at your own risk' use. The splash pad utilizes the same chemical sanitation system as the pool and a secondary UV sanitizer as required by Hays County; therefore, per the CDC, there is little concern of contracting COVID-19 via the water. Parents, please ensure you monitor your children to ensure they are properly distancing themselves and all members of your family are following the CDC's recommendations for protecting yourself and others. We are not requiring reservations to utilize the splash pad. We ask that residents use their judgement regarding the number of people utilizing the splash pad. To that end, if you are utilizing the splash pad and you see others waiting, please limit your time as a courtesy to your neighbors. Please ensure you follow all posted splash pad rules. Effective Friday, October 2nd, the hours of the splash pad return to the pre-COVID-19 hours of 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Monday through Sunday. To activate the splash pad water features, place your hand on top of the orange activation pole and wait. Please use the hand sanitizer before and after each use. The outdoor restrooms at The Retreat splash pad pavilion will remain closed at this time.

Pool Update
The Belterra pool area will remain open for resident use, with appropriate waivers signed, until weather no longer permits. No monitors or lifeguards will be present; therefore, swim is considered "at your own risk." The janitorial company and CCMC management team will be applying sanitizer to the high-touch areas, including pool restrooms, daily and hand sanitizer stations are in several locations in and around the pool. You are encouraged to bring your own sanitizing wipes for before and after use of the facilities. The pool furniture will be locked up and off limits, but you are welcome to bring your own furniture.
Please ensure you review the current pool policy and have signed the appropriate waivers; Swim At Your Own Risk and COVID-19. The Board of Directors will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed.

Fitness Center Update
The Belterra Community Association Board of Directors voted to keep the indoor fitness center located at the Recreation Center closed until the state allows fitness centers to operate at 100% capacity. This decision is based on the current size and capacity limits of the Belterra fitness center facility.

We sincerely appreciate the constructive feedback we have received, and your patience and understanding.

Stay safe and healthy, Belterra.

Sincerely,
Belterra Management
