DMV Updates
The Belvidere Secretary of State’s office will now be open Monday through Friday, only the Rockford State Street facility will offer Saturday hours. Also going forward services relating to your driver’s license will be by appointment only. However, if your issue is related to vehicle title, registration, or license plates you do not have to make an appointment. To make an appointment, you need to either go online to www.ilsos.gov or call (844)817-4649. Appointments will only be allowed two weeks out.
Fill the Boot

Since 1954 the IAFF and MDA have partnered to Fill the Boot, and many boots were filled. Together we raised over $9,000 for MDA.

MDA's mission is to empower people living with neuromuscular diseases to live longer, more independent lives. MDA is the largest source of funding for neuromuscular disease research outside the federal government and has committed more than $1 billion in funding since its inception.

Thank you to the Community for your generous support! Thank you to the Belvidere Firefighters Local #1569 for sponsoring the collection efforts. Thank you to Olive Garden of Rockford and Jimmy John's of Belvidere for providing the Fire Department delicious food.

And last, but certainly not least, thank you to those who volunteered their time on a very hot Holiday weekend to pay it forward!
