Ben's Buzz Special Edition
Dear BFCCPS Community,
We hope that you will join us for our Annual Santa Foundation Community Service Project. Working together we can make the holidays so much brighter for families in need in our area.
"The Santa Foundation was established 30 years ago to fulfill one goal. That goal was to provide gifts for families in need at Christmas time. We deliver the gifts to the recipients so that they can maintain their dignity and anonymity. We have always felt that at least on Christmas Day these families should be like every other family. They will receive presents (from the Santa Foundation) and food (provided by the Food Pantry) and maybe a little hope that things will be better in the upcoming year."
Please note that each item needs to be gift wrapped and clearly labeled with the Family #, item and person's gender/age. (ex: FAMILY #117 PRINCESS BARBIE for 3 yr old girl.) The notes should be detachable so that the Elf Crew can personally tag each gift with the recipients name and a note from Santa. For example, you can attach a post it note taped to the package, or a tag tied on with ribbon or string.
The gifts should be brought into the office for staff, or into the classrooms for students and will be collected daily.
Having your children help with shopping and wrapping these gifts is a wonderful way to share the experience of charitable giving.
In the event that all gifts on these lists have been claimed, the Santa Foundation would very
willingly accept donations. You are welcome to send in checks payable to
The Santa Foundation.
Elves are also needed on Monday December 18th to sort the gifts, cross check the wish lists and deliver to the Santa Foundation. Please click the helper signup below to join our Elf Crew!
We thank you in advance for your generous support of this project to make the holidays so much brighter for families in our area.
Mrs. Heather Zolnowski
Head of School
