Dear BFCCPS Community,

It has been my honor to serve BFCCPS as the Head of School for our final year at 201 Main Street. We’re very excited for what the future holds, but I wanted to be sure that we made this year incredible for every student in this building. Because we know that while having a new school is exciting, it is not a building that makes a place great, it is the people and community inside the walls that make it incredible.

I am so proud of all the students at BFCCPS, but I want to recognize the eighth graders who were so committed to each other and this school. They truly embody the four pillars, and I wish them nothing but the best as they start their high school career.

There are so many days and moments I will always cherish. Thank you to the students, staff and parents for making this school a place I look forward to coming to each morning.

We will be very busy at BFCCPS this summer, and have included some general details just below.

I wish everyone a happy and restful summer.

Mr. Perna

2019 Summer Details

Over the last few weeks I have been holding Expansion Assemblies with the students; They were excited to see images of our new building, and hear about the all of its new features, especially the cubbies and lockers!

We've discussed that while the building is new next year and that we will welcome new friends, we will still be the same school . Our mission and values remain the same, the curriculum and instruction remain the same, and we are joined by new staff, parents and students that share our vision.

Report cards for the 2019-2020 school year will be posted to the SchoolBrains Portal today at noon.

In preparation for next year, Summer Assignments and School Supply lists have been posted to the school's website. Please remember that teacher assignments for the 2019-2020 school year will not be available until August 1st.

We encourage all parents and students to participate in the planned summer meet ups coordinated by the Parent Ambassador Teams, please click here for the names and contact information for parent ambassadors and upcoming activities .

As we prepare for our move out of 201 Main Street our current building will be closed to staff and visitors starting on Monday, June 24th. If you need assistance between June 24 through 28th please contact the Central Office at 508-541-3434. During this time we will be facilitating the move out of 201 and into 500 Financial Park; we ask for your patience during this transition as our access to phones and internet will be intermittent.

BFCCPS will be closed between July 1st and July 5th. Thereafter our office hours for the summer will be as follows.

  • July 8 through July 25: BFCCPS Central Office will be open in our new offices at 500 Financial Park from Monday through Thursday from 9am to 3pm.

  • July 29 through August 16: BFCCPS Central Office will be open in our new offices at 500 Financial Park from Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.

  • August 19th through August 30th: BFCCPS Central Office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4pm.

Once the building is completely open and safe for visitors we will announce tour dates during the month of August to prepare for the fall.

Thank you for your attention to these important updates.

August 20-27 : A, my name is Jenelia, for my capstone project, I chose the topic of “Ending Poverty”. To help with this cause, I’m working with the non-profit organization CARE. They mainly focus on ending poverty by helping causes like education, health, and women’s empowerment. CARE is a non-profit organization that has been helping people since 1946 and it works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice.

One of my goals that I want to accomplish is fundraising for my organization and donating money. To fundraise the money, I will be holding a BAKE SALE from August 20th to August 27th. I will be holding it everyday throughout that week. If you can, please try to come to the address of 481 Coronation Dr. Franklin MA  to attend the sale which will be running from 1:30PM to 3:00Pm. Also, if you want to help out more, please don’t hesitate to donate money to my organization . I will also be spreading awareness about my cause by talking about in a morning announcement. If you have further questions about the bake sale, contact me at +1(617) 959-9079. THANK YOU.
