Spring Benchmark Assessment Legislation Deadline - June 13, 2025

Districts that completed the Fall Benchmark Assessment requirements must ensure their Spring Benchmark Assessment data and Mode of Instruction (MOI) data are available in the Michigan DataHub no later than, Thursday, June 13, 2025. Adhering to this timeline will ensure accordance with MDE’s reporting timeline.

To verify that the required data is present, login to the Michigan DataHub cockpit, and navigate to:

• Features > Benchmark Assessment Legislation
• Then expand Data Readiness Status – Current Year to review MOI and the number of students with spring benchmark assessments results.

Ensuring Spring data in the Michigan DataHub is only necessary for districts that completed all the requirements for the Fall Benchmark submission. For more information, see MDE’s Benchmark Assessment Fact Sheet and FAQ.

23g Reporting Deadline Update - June 15, 2025

With the upcoming reporting deadline of June 15, 2025, we want to provide an update on the current status of 23g reporting for districts:

As of the end of May 2025, here's the breakdown of the 521 districts that have received 23g funding (all 521 districts need to do these steps):

• Over 300 districts have submitted the 2024-2025 Impact Survey. You can verify your submission status via the [Google spreadsheet]. Only districts that have fully submitted their surveys will be listed.
• 181 districts have completed all three MiDataHub reporting steps:
• 23g API installed
• Cohort descriptors
• Benchmark assessment scores

Each district that received 23g funding should be running the “Features - 23g MiKidsBackOnTrack” report to confirm if all three reporting steps have been completed.
