Valero Benicia Supports SHE Leads - Women in STEM Summit

Valero Benicia's Manager of Refinery Optimization, Lacey Sutherland, served as a panelist at the Junior Achievement S.H.E. Leads STEM Summit on February 6.

This Valero sponsored event connected local businesswomen and outstanding female high school students from the East Bay Area in a day of STEM career path exploration. Valero is proud to support the future of female leadership in our industry.

Swim Lesson Scholarships

Valero's donation to the Drowning Prevention Foundation provides free swimming lessons to underserved youth at the James Lemos Swim Center. This project is in its pilot phase, and if all goes well there is potential to expand the lessons to other cities in need.

Valero is proud to have made a recent donation to the Benicia Dog Festival. We are glad to be able to support this event that raises money for non-profits that rescue and care for animals and celebrates our furry friends.
