Benicia Refinery Community Advisory Panel (CAP) Releases 2023 Annual Report

The CAP is an advisory group to Benicia Refinery management and seeks to represent the majority of concerns and opinions of Benicia residents as it pertains to the Refinery's operations. The CAP met six times in 2023 and received updates and presentations from refinery management about different aspects and incidents related to the refinery.

Valero Benicia Refinery Supports Black Maternal and Infant Health Seminar

This free event was hosted by County Supervisor Wanda Williams, Solano Health and Social Services, BWOPA Solano/Napa Chapter. It addressed black maternal and infant health outcomes through three panel discussions.

Valero Benicia Refinery Employees Volunteer at Lions Club Crab Feed Fundraiser

Valero employees, family, and friends helped feed the 325 attendees at the Benicia Lions Club’s 50th (Mostly) Annual Crab Feed Fundraiser.

Valero Benicia Refinery Partners with Rebuilding Together at Veterans Hall

Rebuilding Together came to the Benicia Veterans Hall to provide Safe at Home Kits to veterans, active military and other military families living in Solano County. The kits, valued at $250 each, were provided, in part, through Valero Benicia Refinery grants.

Valero Benicia Refinery Joins Industrial Park Cleanup

The Benicia Industrial Park Cleanup was a collaboration between the Benicia Litter Pickers, Benicia Chamber of Commerce, and Benicia Industrial Park Association (BIPA), with support from the Benicia Lions Club and Bay Hauling.


Volunteers focused on Park Road, between Industrial Way and Stone Road. Nearly 50 people cleared an estimated ton of litter and illegally dumped trash.
