Groundbreaking 2022
Benilde Hall was a recipient of the Per Diem Only grant award from the VA Grant and Per Diem program. This award will provide an expansion of 8 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, to the Benilde Hall veteran wing.
On April 25th, 2022, Benilde Hall hosted a Groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the expansion. Speakers included Mayor Quinton Lucas, Board Vice-Chair Stacey Johnson-Cosby, Board Chair Jeff Zande, and Executive Director Ken Vick, with food catered by Slap’s BBQ.
