December 2022

Executive Director's Letter:

We at Benilde Hall are looking forward to a wonderful holiday season. Thanksgiving was a big hit with great food. My wife Michelle and my parents came down and shared a Thanksgiving meal with the guys here at Benilde Hall. There are so many things to be thankful for. The men here at Benilde Hall are something I’m thankful for every day.

Lytle is scheduling work with subcontractors to start the actual work on the expansion at Benilde Hall. We are adding 8 single rooms with private bathrooms for Veterans in our Grant and Per Diem (GPD) Program. Crews will be on-site on December 19-20th to start the work. Work is scheduled to be finished by March 18th. We are still working on raising funds. At this time, we are still looking for $50,000 to finish the $725,000 total cost. We were blessed by the Veterans United Foundation, who donated $5,000 for this project.

KC Cattle Company is donating Wagyu hamburgers as part of their fundraising efforts. It is a huge blessing to have our community come together.

I wish you many blessings and health for this season of gratitude.

Donor Spotlight

KC Cattle Company

We are excited to announce that Benilde Hall's Safe Haven program is KC Cattle Company's newest Give Back Ground Beef recipient. Until the end of 2022, KC Cattle Company will be giving back to those we serve.

KC Cattle Company matched donations for the entirety of Giving Tuesday. For every pound of beef that was purchased, they donated one too!

We want to thank KC Cattle Company and their customers for their donations and support.
