This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for our donors, volunteers, business partners, and every individual who makes Benjamin’s House possible. Your support allows us to provide safety, stability, and hope to those experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, domestic violence, and unexpected crises.

Thanks to your generosity, this year we have:

  • Operated at full capacity with 20 shelter rooms
  • Maintained 5 Continued Care Housing units at full capacity, with a goal of expanding to 6 units by year’s end
  • Served more than 150 individuals and 40 children
  • Responded to more than 560 calls for shelter, with leading reasons including but not limited to eviction, chronic homelessness, family disputes, domestic violence, housing affordability and/or housing availability, and more unexpected crises.

It is because of all forms of support — volunteer time, in-kind donations, financial gifts, and advocacy — that Benjamin’s House can continue to meet rising needs and provide vital services to those who need it most.

We are particularly grateful this season to a private donor, who has pledged to match all donations up to $100,000. This support will help us update our failing heating system to ensure rooms remain available this winter, and maintain enough hot water to support stability and continued care, and so much more.

Dear Friends of Benjamin's House,

I want to personally thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Your generosity and commitment make it possible for us to serve our community with safety, stability, and compassion. Whether through your giving, hands-on support, or simply sharing our story with others, every contribution matters.

Together, we are making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families in need. This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful as more than thirty guests gather around the table for our holiday dinner, sharing warmth and community thanks to your support.

Thank you for all you do to support our mission of helping those experiencing homelessness and individuals in need. We are forever grateful to you!

Warmly,

Jenifer
