Budget Committee Seeks Appointee

The Benton County Budget Committee is seeking a qualified, new member. The Budget Committee, which includes the Board of Commissioners, reviews and approves proposed budgets for the County and 6 Service Districts. This important role helps Benton County adopt a final budget.

Join us for an open house pARTy at the Kalapuya Building

Benton County is coordinating with the Corvallis School district to host the Kalapuya Building Community Open House and Corvallis School District pARTy to celebrate our new Kalapuya building and feature art from the Corvallis School district on April 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join us for rain forest-themed pARTy with refreshments, games, prizes, giveaways, and music outside the Kalapuya Building where Benton County subject matter experts and leaders will be sharing information about their departments.

Commissioners visit Speaker Rayfield in Salem

Benton County Commissioners Pat Malone, Xan Augerot and Nancy Wyse visited Oregon State Legislature House Speaker Dan Rayfield at the Oregon State Capitol in Salem, Apr. 6, to thank Rayfield for his support with Benton County Crisis Center project, and his service and leadership as the District 16 Representative in Benton County. Rayfield and others helped secure funding for the Benton County Crisis Center that will help address mental health needs in Benton County when complete. Benton County is currently working on legislative priorities.
