Igniting Our Future
The past two weeks have been inspiring as we envisioned the future of RMBA! Our professional development featured renowned guest speakers George Couros and Rahel Bayar, who truly ignited our passion for education. A big thank you to our PTO for the lovely welcome back lunch, and congratulations to our staff recognized in our new Ring of Honor ceremony for milestone anniversaries and their dedicated service to RMBA. Additionally, our leadership team recently held an offsite retreat, exploring how leaders and teachers shape school culture. As we officially kick off the 2024–2025 academic year, we look forward to a year of continuous learning and celebrating RMBA excellence!

Classroom Community
This week, Ms. Morrison's fourth-grade students enjoyed engaging in fun “get to know you” games, including "Would You Rather" and "Two Truths and a Fib." These interactive activities not only sparked laughter but also helped the students learn more about one another. By sharing personal stories and preferences, they began to build a strong sense of community within the classroom, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.

New Beginnings
On the first day of school, Morah Sandy's EC3A class dove right into davening and learning about this week’s parsha, Eikev. The classroom water and trash helpers assisted their friends in washing their yadiim (hands) during tefillah. Embracing the lesson from Eikev, the students opened their hearts by introducing their classmates to one another. They also tested their memory with a fun card game featuring the seven species of Israel, making it a fantastic start to the school year!
