Parshat Ki Teitzei | Candle Lighting 7:20 pm | Havdalah 8:27 pm | |
This week, Rabbi Johnny Ouzzan explores the deeper meaning behind the Torahâs exemption for someone who has just built a house. Rather than viewing a home as a symbol of external success, Judaism teaches that its true purpose is to serve as a sanctuary for mitzvot, Torah, and family life.

Names, Not NumbersÂŽ
Last night, RMBA hosted an incredible evening at the ERJCC Kaplan Theatre for the premiere of a student-produced documentary created in partnership with Names, Not NumbersÂŽ. The moving film featured the voices and stories of Holocaust survivors, captured through interviews conducted by RMBA high school students. It was especially meaningful to have survivors in the audience, witnessing their own stories shared on the big screen. Through this project, the students took an active role in preserving history and ensuring these important stories are never forgotten.

Kindness Takes Flight
This week in Morah Sandyâs EC3A class, the children learned from Parsha Ki Teitzei about the mitzvah of âshooingâ a mother bird away before taking her egg. They also learned new Hebrew and sign language family words, enjoyed stories and songs, and connected to Parshat Ki Teitzei by exploring the mitzvah of tzitzit through sensory play.
