Missing Israel
Seniors in Mrs. Gelman's Chumash class enjoyed a small piece of the Israel-trip-brought-home with surprise Israeli snack bags, and spent time in class bonding and acknowledging the disappointment of not being on the Israel trip currently due to Covid. The students played an Israeli Slang game and watched a few videos like the Maccabeats' "Home" and Kullulam's "Fix You." All the students filled out a card where on one side they wrote what they were most looking forward to on the Senior Trip, and on the other side what they were most grateful for in November 2020.
Everyone enjoyed the Chumash classroom class-bonding, some heartfelt feelings, and Israeli food!
