 SCHOOL YEAR AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
 
Can you welcome a new family to the Eden Family?
 
The SCHOOL YEAR AMBASSADOR PROGRAM , designed to welcome and connect new families to Eden, kicks-off with a Welcome Coffee on:
  • August 23 – at Berkeley Hills and Wexford
  • August 24 – at Mt. Nebo
 
YOU can play a part as a School Year Ambassador and share your Eden enthusiasm with a new family!
 
As an Ambassador, you will:
  • Be paired with a family that is new to Eden (contact information will be emailed to you the first week of August)
  • Attend the Welcome Coffee at your campus
  • Reach out to your assigned new family during the year to invite them to school events and serve as a resource
  • Earn volunteer hours
  • Have fun connecting a new family with the Eden Family!
 
We are looking for School Year Ambassadors to represent all grades at all three campuses. If you’re interested in being an Ambassador, click "yes" below.
 
 
On the other hand, you may be recently new to Eden and would like to be better acquainted with the school. We want you to feel welcome and can connect you to a School Year Ambassador - just click "yes" below!

Connection Events for All Eden Students
 
Watch your email for an invitation for your student to join the summer fun and connect with classmates - both current and new-to-Eden students!
 
  • Events are being planned for classes PS4 - grade 12
  • 1st-12th grade events will be gender specific
  • Most events will take place in August
 
You will receive an email this summer with the date, location, and details about your child's event.
There are no hot lunches in June; don't forget to pack a lunch!

Dear Parents,

We still have many wonderful activities at the Berkeley Hills Campus before the school year ends! A few favorites are the Family Picnic on Wednesday, June 6, for 1st-6th grade ONLY, and Field Day on Monday, June 4, with the Wexford campus joining us here at Berkeley Hills.

You are invited to our Annual Awards Ceremony for grades 1-5 on Tuesday, June 5. Here are the times:
  • 1st grade - 10:05-10:45
  • 2nd grade - 10:50-11:30
  • 3rd grade - 12:30-1:10
  • 4th grade - 11:35-12:10
  • 5th grade - 1:15-1:55

We will celebrate our 6th grade class with a special awards ceremony on Thursday, June 7, at 9:45 am.

Please note the last day of school is June 7 and dismissal is at NOON.

YOU ARE INVITED TO GARDEN DAY!

FRIDAY, JUNE 1
10:00-3:00

Students will be digging, forming the garden, and placing the fence.

  • 10:00-11:00: FDK and 6th grade-digging
  • 12:10-1:00: 1st grade-digging
  • 1:00-2:00: 2nd grade and 5th grade-digging and railroad ties
  • 2:00-3:00: 3rd grade and 4th grade-setting up the fence

Parents, we would love to have your help any time throughout the day!
  • Bring your spade shovel
  • Join the fun
  • Earn volunteer hours for the 2018-2019 school year

IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER DISMISSAL PROCEDURE

 For the safety of all students, buses are dismissed FIRST at 3:15 and carpool follows at 3:25.

If you are walking to the building to pick up your child(ren), please note that buses have first priority at afternoon dismissal. Eden staff on bus duty have been instructed by administration to follow the dismissal protocol and are not permitted to call for carpooled students until the buses are dismissed from the parking lot.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation at dismissal time. Your child’s safety is our number one priority!
