USDA Federal Funding Opportunity - Value Added Producer Grants
The Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program helps agricultural producers enter into value-added activities related to the processing and marketing of new products. The goals of this program are to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities and increase producer income. The deadline to apply is April 29, 2021
Emerging Technology Applications Center (ETAC)
The Emerging Technology Applications Center (ETAC) of Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA. specializes in operational energy efficiency. ETAC has completed hundreds of energy assessments across the state of Pennsylvania and maintains certification as a registered Conservation Service Provider with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. 
ETAC currently has a grant fund as listed below that allows: 
  • A Rural Energy for America grant funded by the US Department of Agriculture allows them to provide no cost technical assistance to eligible Pennsylvania ag producers and rural small businesses to identify and assess renewable energy alternatives. 
  • US Environmental Protection Agency Source Reduction Assistance, this grant allows us to provide eligible food, beverage and metal manufacturers with pollution prevention and energy efficiency technical assistance at no cost.
