Federal Grants

The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Nonprofit Security Grant Program supports nonprofits at high risk of a terrorist or other extremist attack for the purposes of facility hardening and other security enhancements.

The U.S. Department of Labor's Pathway Home 5 grants help ensure that participants in reentry from incarceration are prepared to meet the needs of their local labor markets with the skills valued by employers.

State Grants

Greening the Gateway Cities Grants fund planting, watering, maintenance & stewardship of trees and/or impervious surface removal that will have a measurable impact on the present and future urban tree canopy. 

Workplace Education Planning Grants support partnerships among education providers, employer partners and or business partners, and unions identify needs for instructional services and to implement an instructional program for adult workers.

The White House Council on Environmental Quality has extended the deadline for response to the Request for Information on the proposed Environmental Justice Scorecard to February 22, 2024.
