Federal Grants

Let BFF know if you are interested in joining a discussion about the U.S. Department of Labor YouthBuild pre-apprenticeship grant for education, occupational skills training, leadership development, and post-program placement for youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who left high school prior to graduation and who also have other risk factors.

State Grants

Towns with less than 10,000 people can apply for a Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant by December 15, 2023 for funding to support forest fire related purposes.



There's still time to apply for the MA Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant, open to all cities, towns, and fire districts, accepting applications by December 1, 2023.
