THE BERLIN BULLETIN - February 2024
A Message From The Mayor's Office
We are grateful to all the participants who attended the listening sessions and our strategic stakeholders meeting to support the efforts of BEACON (Business Economic Community Outreach Network at Salisbury University) to create a Strategic Plan for the Town of Berlin. Strengths, challenges, and opportunities have been discussed openly and will inform any plans BEACON puts forward. The next presentation about the strategic plan will be at the Mayor and Council Meeting at 7 pm on February, 12th.

This month, I had the opportunity to meet with Berlin’s 4th Grade Students, all of whom will participate in the Maryland Municipal League’s Statewide Competition, “If I Were Mayor” Digital Essay Contest this Spring. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire future civic engagement and to connect with our local youth. Over and over again, students asked what my favorite part of the job is and I told them it’s YOU—connecting with my neighbors; being able to talk to everyone in the Town of Berlin, and working together to make Berlin better all makes this a wonderful job and great place to live and work.

If you have feedback, concerns, or suggestions, never hesitate to contact my office or email MayorZack@berlinmd.gov.
