THE BERLIN BULLETIN - NOVEMBER 2025

A Message From The Mayor's Office

As quickly as the weather turned, and with Halloween now officially behind us, our attention has turned towards the magical holiday season ahead. This year, the Mayor’s office has initiated a community-wide art project to help decorate the Town of Berlin’s Christmas Tree with hand-painted, locally sourced oyster shells. Schools and nonprofits across Berlin are helping facilitate the project, and I look forward to unveiling the results together at the Christmas Tree Lighting during Ice, Ice, Berlin on Friday, November 28th (5-8 pm, with the tree lighting at 6 pm).

If you would like to paint an oyster shell ornament for the tree, please stop by customer service on any weekday between 8 am and 4 pm

and contribute to the craft.

Speaking of the Holidays, we’re auctioning off some highly coveted parking spots to this year’s Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 4th to raise money for the future Berlin Community Center –

there are also a few streets signs still available as well, check it all out here, the auction goes live on Tuesday!
