We are so excited to share that the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain (CFGNB) has been selected by the store leadership at the Stop & Shop on 1135 Farmington Avenue in Berlin as the benefiting organization in the Bloomin’ 4 Good Program for the month of February!

During this month, a $10.99 bouquet in the sleeve marked “Bloomin’ 4 Good” from this Stop & Shop store will brighten a home or make someone’s day while also directing a $1 donation to the CFGNB. This is a great way to broaden awareness in the local community and raise donations for our organization to make grants that help fight hunger.

“Flowers can bring happiness, but why not also provide meals to someone in need,” said Kaylah Milligan, Director of Philanthropy. “Being chosen for this program again is an honor and we are happy to participate in a program that makes it possible to give back to the local community during a trip to the grocery store.”
